Broken

She was starting to wonder if there was any way she could take him down. She knew that her only choice now was to subdue him, but how was she supposed to do that when he appeared to have no weaknesses? She knew through years of training that every fighter had a weakness, a chink in their armor that could be exploited. The problem was finding it, and this man didn't appear likely to reveal his. She threw another punch, but this time, he caught hold of her fist in mid-air before throwing a punch of his own. She twisted away from the blow before it hit and countered, throwing all her weight into a right hook to her opponent's ribcage.

To her great surprise, the blow seemed to have really hurt him. He gasped and dropped his guard, grabbing at his side where her punch had landed. And just like that, she knew she had found the chink in his armor.

He seemed to realize the same thing and made more of an effort to guard there, but every time he took a swing, she blocked it or knocked it aside and landed a blow that wore away at him just a little more. This went on for several minutes, him fending off her attacks and her wearing him down. She was surprised. He was a tough opponent, but his weak spot was such an easy one to take advantage of.

Finally, he seemed to be just about done; he had stopped throwing punches and was focusing entirely on defending himself. Knowing she had to stop this fight now, she mustered one final surge of energy and threw a powerful kick. She felt something snap under her foot as she did so, and he dropped like a stone, falling flat on his back.
